Screencast
A big thank you to Chris Harris
for bringing this software to my attention. Chris was shown it at a
workshop he attended and passed the link on during a "support chat" we
had about something completely different.
BB FlashBack Express
is probably one of, if not the best screen capture tool I've tried out.
Currently it is "Free forever" but, if like me you try it out, the
temptation to upgrade to Standard or Professional is huge. They both
cost.

I'd almost
forgotten about Tuxpi when I was reminded to revisit the tools by one of
the many RSS feeds I read.
Tuxpi is one

Microsoft
The one
thing I like about 'New Browsers' is tabs. Taking cue from web browsers,
developers have started embracing the “tab culture” and now we often see tabs
in various applications.
For me, I
would have liked to have seen them in Microsoft Office. It’s frustrating to be
not able to open documents in tabs.
Wait no
longer! OfficeTab, a free utility, fills this gap.
OfficeTab
enables users to open multiple documents within one office window without
cramming up your taskbar.
