...can be found either in the Virtual Training Suite <http://www.vts.intute.ac.uk/> or by visiting Intute: Nursing, midwifery and allied health <http://www.intute.ac.uk/nmah/> and clicking on the required subject in the Virtual Training Suite box.

The tutorials aim to help learners make more successful use of the Internet for their coursework and assignments. All the tutorials have been written and reviewed by subject specialists from UK universities, who are experienced Internet researchers.

The interactive features of each tutorial include...

  • quizzes,
  • practical exercises, and
  • a ‘links basket' which allows users to keep a record of the substantial number of website addresses mentioned in the tutorial.

Each tutorial takes around an hour to complete, but it allows visitors to work through the material in their own time and at their own pace.
