The COI (Central Office of Information) for the Government have produced an excellent, and easy-to-read, set of usability guidelines for creating usable website in the public sector.

The COI Usability Toolkit includes technical and design advice, as well as some very good pointers towards writing effective web content.

If you are involved in a Learning Provider Website Project – whether it’s external for the public, or just internal for learners and staff, it is a very worthwhile read. Useful too if anybody is planning a new SharePoint 2010 project.
