The New York Philharmonic is putting its archives online, which could be a great resource for practitioners and learners of music history; when the audio and video elements come online, the archives will become a great resource for music appreciation as well.

It is early days and the entire collection is not yet digitized and online, however I'm assured that there is a lot of good resources available already. Visit the New York Philharmonic archives today you will find...

images;
programs;
scores; and
business documents.

The plan for the near future is the addition of...

audio and video recordings to the archives;
press clippings; and
concert magazines.
