...is from the 18 – 24 October 2010. However, promotions will run throughout October creating a massive buzz around helping people to get online.

To support Get online week, the BBC are planning exciting promotional activity which will reach millions, encouraging people across the UK to get online.

During Get online week 2010 any organisation in the UK can hold a Get online week event, big or small.

Why should I/We get involved?

There are over 10 million people in the UK who still don't use computers and the internet. Get online week is the biggest digital inclusion event to date and being a part of it is a great way to help more people in your community to get online.

Run a free event or activity during October 2010 that helps people to get online with myguide <http://www.myguide.gov.uk/>.
Provide people attending your event with free access to the internet with help and support to use it.
