Create Video Questionnaires

Intervue.me...

  • is a new website I have been evaluating recently;
  • is another website that is based around the use of webcams;
  • enables users to create questionnaires and then get the recipients of the questionnaire to leave video recorded answers.

If you show videos as part of your teaching/training etc., and/or use video evidence, SnipSnip.it could be useful for skipping over the parts of a video you don't need learners/assessors/verifiers... to watch.

Another benefit of SnipSnip.it is that when the videos playback they are displayed on a blank canvas devoid of the distracting and sometimes inappropriate "related videos" that appear on YouTube.

BlipSnips, for those Learning Providers who don't block YouTube or Vimeo videos, may be a dream come true for NVQ Practitioners (Assessors/verifiers and the learners themselves)

Sharing a video is easy nowadays but what if users really want focus on just a couple of specific scenes (evidence) in a long video?

Traditionally, viewers would have to skip the video to get to the part required. No wonder Verifiers in particular didn't want to use video clips as evidence!

Vodburner: Record Skype Video Calls

I know that a number of Learning Providers, especially Work Based Learning, are already using Skype to collect audio evidence using CallGraph and Pamela.

Vodburner takes evidence collection to a new level by recording video calls.

Cost?

  • VodBurner is free to install.
  • Recording Skype-to-Skype calls with other VodBurner users is completely free of charge.
