Looking for an innovative approach to updating your Twitter account? Well this may help.

Part of my working day,and evening if I don't have enough time in the day, involves going through all the RSS Feeds I follow. This is the time when I am creating next month's eMagazine and the alternative blog and my website portal. It is also the time that I actually want to tweet a lot.

I have always felt that I shouldn't be tweeting lots of good "finds" within an hour and/or at the time I'm working – that’s where this Twitter scheduling tools might come in handy. (Trial in progress)

Buffer App offers a different approach that I feel will meet my needs. Buffer’s Browser extension for Firefox gives users the real power to use Buffer to...

  • set a schedule once and then let all Buffer tweets get published - based on the daily schedule; tweets will be spread out over the day so users will never overwhelm their followers.
  • drop links into the Buffer account
  • the Buffer App tool queues them for future publishing. This way users can still enjoy spontaneous tweeting without stuffing their Twitter stream with multiple updates, within a short period of time.

Also, whenever users are reading an article, they can click on the Buffer icon and get the title of the page and a shortened link; they can then add it to their Buffer.
