Popplet is an online Brainstorming/Blueskying tool...

A popplet is a big virtual pinboard that users can “popples” (boxes) onto.

A popple is container that holds...

• text;
• photos; and other interesting things such as
• a Google Map; and/or
  
• YouTube video.
  

Users can also upload media from their desktop to their board.

Popplet also offers a browser bookmarklet that users can use to add content from other webpages to their Popplet pages. An iPad app is also available.

If users want to share their Popplet with others, they can add other users via email – they will then have access to the board and can edit it and/or add to it. Popplets can also be embedded into a blog or Wiki.

It’s also possible to export a finished Popplet as a pdf or jpg file which would also make it handy for sharing across a VLE or inserting into other documents.
