Bounce could be an excellent tool for...

  • sharing comments about the design elements of websites;
  • highlighting graphics on a website; or
  • sharing comments about articles with learners and/or colleagues.

Bounce not only allows users to make annotated screen captures of websites but also allows them to instantly share those screen captures with others.

Screencast-o-Matic

Screencast-O-Matic was one of the original free and easy ways to create a video recording of your screen (screencast) that I included in a 2008 eMagazine; these screencasts could be uploaded for free hosting all from your browser with no install and for FREE!

Well during January I revisited Screencast-o-Matic and was impressed by...

  • the improved quality of capture
  • the addition of audio (need a microphone of course)
  • the ability to add screen subtitles/notes
  • the ease of download and/or posting...
